On June 30th, 2021 Abhimanyu Mishra became the youngest chess Grandmaster ever. He achieved this remarkable feat at the age of 12 years, 4 months, and 25 days. Mishra shattered a 19-year-old record held by Sergey Karjakin who earned the prestigious title at the age of 12 years, 7 months and 0 days. Additional he holds many other “youngest ever” titles for United States Expert, United States National Master, and International Master! Featured is Abhimanyu Mishra’s round 9 game from a 10-round tournament in Hungary.
